After more than a decade working in the fashion industry, Kelsey van Patten asked herself, "How can I operate in society wearing only fancy pajamas?" and by kvp was born.

Kelsey works with a small sewing studio in Tijuana that pays above the average wage for the area and provides meals to employees. This very small operation tries to support their sewers by providing flexible schedules and sewing machines for those who want to work from home.

All by kvp pieces are made to order in an effort to reduce textile waste. All pieces are made from Oeko-Tex 100 Certified linen, which is naturally antimicrobial and requires less water and pesticides to grow than cotton.
