Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in the case of items that arrive damaged or defective.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can log in to your customer account and start a return or contact hello@shortwaveastoria.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 255 14th St, Astoria, OR 97103.
If your return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
There is a $5 fee for all mailed returns to partially cover the cost of shipping. This fee is waived for exchanges of items that cost $100 or more (after discounts).
You may also return your items in person to our store at 255 14th St, Astoria, OR 97103. There is no fee for in-store returns.

Extended Holiday Return Policy: Items purchased in the months of November and December may be returned until January 31. All other aspects of the normal return policy still apply.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), personal care products (such as beauty products, personal care products, nail polish and perfume), underwear and swimsuit bottoms/one pieces. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, gift boxes or items purchased using a promotional discount of more than 20%.
Exchanges
We allow exchanges. You can request an exchange when making a return request through your customer account or when emailing a return request to hello@shortwaveastoria.com. Please be specific about the item(s) you would like to exchange for. Your exchange item will be shipped once we receive and inspect the item you're returning.
Refunds
If your return is approved once we've received and inspected your item, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method or your exchange item will be shipped within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post refunds.
