Shipping policy
Please note that we share our online inventory with our in-store inventory and will occasionally need to refund an out of stock item. You will be notified within 72 hours if this is the case.
In Store Pick Up
You will receive a confirmation email once your order is ready for pick up.
When you arrive in store please let us know your name and order number.
Please consult our store hours before attempting to pick up your order.
All items must be picked up within 14 days of the order date unless you make special arrangements with us by contacting hello@shortwaveastoria.com. We can't hold onto items past 14 days due to lack of space. Orders not picked up after 14 days will be canceled and refunded and the items will be returned back into inventory.
Shipping
We strive to ship orders within 3 business days. If your order was placed after business hours, then that day does not count towards our 3 day processing time. Occasionally, we receive a very high volume of orders (such as during sales events and the winter holidays) and our processing time will be a bit slower. If you require faster processing and shipping times, please contact us at hello@shortwaveastoria.com before placing your order to see if we can acomodate your request.
Local pick up is always your fastest option if you live in Astoria, Oregon.
Orders will be shipped according to the method you select at checkout.
All shipments include tracking and insurance. Please note that insurance does not cover items that are stolen after delivery.
We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Lost or Stolen Items:
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please remember that we have no control over what happens to your shipment once it has been scanned by the carrier.
However, if your item has not been marked as delivered and you believe it is lost, please contact us and we will assist you by filing a lost mail search request and an insurance claim to resolve the situation. This will result in either your package being found and delivered, or a refund being issued. We do this as a courtesy to our customers.
We are not responsible for shipments that are lost or delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect address information entered by the customer. We do not offer refunds or replacements in this situation.
We are not responsible for items that have been lost or stolen after they were marked as delivered by the carrier. Carrier insurance does not cover packages after they have been marked as delivered, and this is unfortunately out of our control. We do not offer refunds or replacements in this situation.
Damaged Items:
If an item arrives damaged, please send an email to hello@shortwaveastoria.com and we will facilitate a claim with the shipping carrier. Please include pictures of the broken item and shipping box as we will need both to file the claim. We will refund your order within 5 business days of receiving your email.
All damage claims must be received within 7 days of receiving the shipment. We cannot accept damage claims after that timeframe.
Incorrect Addresses or Returned Packages:
If a package is returned to us due to the customer entering incorrect shipping information or a failed delivery attempt, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping fees and the cost of re-shipment.
