Kelsey Armstrong is the creator of Haricot Vert, a whimsical world rooted in creativity and curiosity. After discovering collage and mixed media in Paris in 2014, she brought the practice back to NYC, transforming it into playful, three-dimensional jewelry.
In 2020, Armstrong began creating whimsical collage jewelry from her Brooklyn apartment, developing her signature Picto-Charm™ and a distinctive language of found imagery, vintage materials, and playful composition.
Today, Armstrong and her small team work from her Brooklyn studio, creating pieces by hand that invite curiosity and make the everyday feel a little more magical.
Their signature picto-charms™ are handcrafted each day using a blend of nontoxic materials lovingly referred to as their "secret recipe." The imagery is often from proprietary photography and doodles, or is sourced from royalty-free archives, vintage books, magazines, flyers, and various types of ephemera.
Their jewelry is made with demi-fine, hypoallergenic metals and most of their pieces include vintage, deadstock, antique, natural or found components.
