The Tall Camellia Cup from Alexandria Cummings is the perfect mug for your morning coffee or tea. These two-toned flared mugs will brighten up your table. They're surprisingly light for how chunky they look, and the small handle fits one or two fingers. Features a raw clay rim.

Please note: Due to the handmade nature of ceramics, shapes, sizes (1/4 of an inch or so), finishes and glazes (colors) will vary slightly from piece-to-piece.

All ceramics are made for day-to-day use and are food, dishwasher and microwave safe.

However, hand washing is recommended to avoid potential chips and other wear over time. Avoid exposing ceramics to any sudden drastic changes in temperature.

Ceramic surfaces could benefit from a baking soda (or Bar Keeper’s Friend) scrub from time-to-time.

Alexandria Cummings is a small-batch ceramicist living and working in Portland, Oregon.

She studied art education and ceramics at Western Michigan University focusing on process, firing techniques and sculptural objects. With this formal education, a passion for exploration and the desire to make useful things led her to making mugs and bowls for the every day.

She hand throws, hand builds and hand glazes functional objects that are meant to be enjoyed day in and day out. Inspired by color, she experiments with marrying the brightness of the rainbow with the simplicity of neutrals, and applies this balance to modern, yet simple shapes and forms.
