We carefully harvest the leaves and delicate flowers of Hawthorn trees in our area each Spring, and combine those with with rose petals and tulsi basil. A warm cup of Heart of Gold offers a gentle way to start your morning with intention or to reflect on your day in the evening.

With subtle floral notes from the rose petals and tulsi's light, minty yet spicy aroma that dances on the palate, this harmonious blend is truly an easy drinker that soothes with each sip. Paired with a touch of honey to enhance its natural sweetness or enjoyed purely on its own, we're confident you'll find yourself reaching for another comforting cup.

Kelly White, the heart and hands behind Murrelet Herb Farm, finds her inspiration in both the forest and the garden. After a decade of farming vegetables, she felt called to pivot to herbs. In early 2024, Kelly purchased the Communitea brand, formerly owned by North Fork 53. Guided by a deep love of the outdoors and her community, Kelly works to bring quality of flavor and reverence for nature into every cup of tea you drink.

Murrelet Herb Farm sits nestled in between the Pacific Ocean and Coast Range Mountains of Oregon. It’s here on a humble 2-acres that Kelly and her partner grow herbs for their tea blends. They focus on growing plants that need little in the way of fertilizer and water and utilize dry farming techniques (no irrigation) in all of their field beds. While the farm produces most of the herbs for their teas, any ingredients not grown on-site are sourced as ethically and sustainably as possible.
