Based on the design of the beloved MD Notebook, this diary was designed to emphasize the exceptional quality of the paper inside, as well as to encourage you to make it your own. The MD paper is smooth, bleed resistant, feather resistant, and perfect for fountain pens.

The sturdy sewn binding opens flat, making it easy to write in. Includes a red cloth ribbon bookmark.

These diaries start with MD Paper, which is considered to be some of the best writing paper in the world. It is exceptionally smooth and very resistant to ink feathering and bleed through, which makes it ideal for fountain pens. It is also wonderful for any type of pen or pencil. The paper used for these diaries has a beautiful warm cream color.

The diary is constructed with a hand sewn binding reinforced with mull (a special strong, lightweight, very flexible cloth that resembles cheesecloth). This binding allows the diary to lay flat for ultimate writing or drawing comfort.

The cover of the diary is made of a thicker weight of MD Paper, so you can write or draw on it if you would like to customize it and make it your own. The cover is wrapped in a glassine paper dust jacket to protect it.

Each diary has a colored string bookmark so you can easily find your place in the notebook. They also come with index tabs and a bookplate to help you organize your diaries from each year.
