Eva founded Circular Living in 2017 in response to a lack of plastic-free, synthetic-free and responsibly made skincare products.
Since then, Circular Living has stayed true to Eva's ethics:
Organic, Fair Trade and renewal ingredients and materials. They do not use any plant species that are vulnerable, threatened, endangered, or critically endangered like frankincense, rosewood or sandalwood (to name a few). They do not use any synthetic fragrances, hydrogenated oils or pseudo-waxes (the by-product of absolute floral oils that are often extracted using petroleum solvents like hexane).
Vegan and cruelty free. They don’t work with vendors who test on animals or produce ingredients that compromise animal welfare and endemic species habitat (like palm oil). They do not use ingredients whose production endangers workers (synthetic chemicals), or are associated with forced labor, child labor or unsafe working conditions like the mining of himilayan sea salt, amber and mica and the production of cocoa, vanilla, coconut oil, and palm oil to name a few.
Plastic-free packaging and shipping. Labels are 100% certified backyard compostable and they use unfrosted glass bottles/jars with metal lids that can be reused or recycled curbside. Their shipping materials are 100% plastic-free and are compostable and recyclable.
Every product is made by hand. They are a small woman-owned business, and make everything by hand in small batches, which guarantees the freshest product possible.
Giving back. They donate at minimum 1% of their quarterly profits to non-profits that are in alignment with their values.
