Wool Jacquard Socks

These are hands down the nicest socks I've ever owned. They are so unbelievably soft and plush--like snuggling into your favorite worn-in sweater.

The yarn is so fluffy, even after many washings, and the weave is just right--not too loose! Plus, they are beautiful and add understated refinement to any outfit.

By repeatedly pre-washing the wool, Nishiguchi Kutsushita has developed a line of wool socks that are almost completely shrink-proof. It's true! I accidentally washed mine in warm water and put them in the dryer on high, and they didn't shrink! However, wool does felt, which reduces stretchiness, so it is still highly recommended to wash cold and air dry these socks.

Materials: 93% wool, 6% nylon, 1% elastane

Hand wash or machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Use a mesh delicates bag to reduce friction and prolong the life of your socks. Hang or lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry (wool will felt).

Nishiguchi Kutsushita is one of three brand names produced and sold by Knitwin, a family owned sock manufacturing company in Nara, Japan.

Knitwin was founded by Katsuji Nishiguchi in 1950 with just one hand-operated knitting machine. Now operating under third generation director Isato Nishiguchi, Knitwin has evolved and expanded into a sock manufacturing company housing over 130 knitting machines. Their team consists of industry veterans with over 50 years of experience, as well as new generation talents in their 30s.
