No. 112 Paring Knife

One of Opinel's essential kitchen & table knives, this paring knife features a quality stainless steel blade and a simple construction with a beech wood handle.

Paring knives are great for slicing fruits and cheese, opening packages, or cutting up fruits and small vegetables like mushrooms. In the absence of a peeler, a paring knife is great at doing double duty on those apples ready to be baked into a pie.

The coated beech wood handle protects against moisture and dirt, making it a durable and long-lasting product.

Materials: Swedish Sandvik stainless steel blade and beech wood handle.

Dimensions: 3.75" blade length. 7.5" overall length.

Hand wash only. Do not leave submerged in water as the blade may warp.

Opinel has been crafting knives and hand tools in their factory in the town of Chambery in the French Alps for over 130 years. In 1890, Joseph Opinel invented their iconic pocket knife, which has changed little since its invention and has been featured in international design exhibitions because of its brilliant simplicity. They have expanded their line over the years, but every new addition stays true to the simplicity, elegance and craftsmanship of that original knife.
