Origami Star Garland Kit

This kit contains everything you need to make 36 double-sided, five-pointed origami stars: 36 different sheets of Cambridge Imprint patterned papers, with a beautifully produced book of instructions, all in a wallet of patterned card.

To string the hearts together into garland you will need ribbon, or a needle and thread, which are not included.

There is no glue, plastic or metal in the banner itself or its packaging: the entire product is fully biodegradable and recyclable.

String or ribbon is not included.

The five pointed star is a medium difficulty origami, suitable for adults and older children. The instruction booklet tells you everything you need to know. However, it is much easier to show rather than tell a process of this kind, so if you find you could do with some extra help you will find our demonstration video in the ‘How To’ section of Cambridge Imprint's website.

Virtually all Cambridge Imprint products are designed, manufactured, finished and packaged in England. Their patterned paper is designed using hand-drawn patterns and is printed on a lithographic press by a long-established printers’ cooperative in London. It is printed on a matte uncoated stock using vegetable oil-based inks hand-mixed for each job, a process that closely mirrors the way the prototypes are produced in their workshop.

Using this beautiful and fully compostable and recyclable paper, their products are transformed into a variety of goods by small English businesses with high levels of expertise and craftsmanship. They work with a range of box-makers, book-binders, potteries and textile printers to make our patterns and papers into enduring, resilient, beautiful, useful things.
