They craft their hot chocolate in small batches with a modern take on a traditional European technique. This makes for a decadent, fruity & fudge-like hot chocolate that highlights the spirit of craft chocolate making.

Treehouse Originals crafts all their drinking chocolate in small batches in Portland, Oregon using processes that highlight the natural characteristics of their carefully sourced premium Peruvian cacao.

Aaron Koch founded Treehouse Originals after working on coffee, permaculture and fruit farms, and finally a cacao farm on Hawaii. He knew he wanted to work with cacao after seeing how traditional cacao farming preserves rainforest because it is an understory crop and needs the shade of naturally growing rainforest to thrive.

He set out to create a chocolate company that does justice to the craft and spirit of cacao farming and uses only premium organic cacao, sustainably sourced direct from the farmers.
