Queenie Sheep Milk Bar Soap

The Queenie bar is a charcoal sheep milk soap, inspired by Leah's late great grandmother. This citrus bar draws inspiration from Florida, where she lived. This bar is scented with a mix of essential oils, including blood orange, pine, and frankincense. This clarifying yet nourishing cold process soap is perfect for all over skin care for normal to oily skin, whether it be hands, body, or facial soap.

Handmade in small batches in Cambridge, MA. Sheep milk hand milked and sourced from our family sheep farm in Glastonbury, CT.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Sustainable Palm Oil, Distilled Water, Lye, Sheep's Milk, Coconut Oil, our blend of Essential Oils, and Charcoal Powder.

This small-batch skincare and home goods project originally began with a one-sheep-at-a-time milking parlor and a home kitchen. Featuring sheep milk from Leah’s family flock, she made bar soap to display alongside the family farm’s produce at markets. Sheep milk is traditionally revered for being a seasonal, delicious, and easily digestible milk for cheese. With nearly double the fat of cow and goat milk, this also lends itself nicely to creating the Herd’s highly moisturizing cold process soap.
