Key Ingredients:

White clay: promotes the elimination of toxins and restores radiance to the skin.

Calendula: anti-inflammatory and healing, it promotes skin regeneration and provides softness and elasticity.

Lavender hydrosol: soothes irritated skin, calms razor burn, and softens the skin after shaving.

Honey: the glucose contained in honey helps nourish the cells which multiply to rebuild what has been destroyed, promoting healing. Its richness in mineral substances, vitamins and amino acids give it softening, soothing and regenerating properties.

St. John's wort: recommended for sensitive skin, it calms and soothes skin irritations. Anti-bacterial and healing.

How to Use:
1) Moisten shaving brush with lukewarm water for at least one minute.
2) Moisten your face with lukewarm water.
3) Whip the shaving soap vigorously using the shaving brush until you obtain a thick, creamy foam.
4) Still using the brush, apply the foam to your face using circular movements. This action aims to dilate the pores of the skin.
5) Shave with the grain of the hair.
7) Rinse your face with cold water.

Le Baigneur makes cold processed small batch soap by hand in their workshop in Paris. Their soaps contain no palm oil or synthetic or harsh ingredients. They use organic ingredients whenever possible and source most ingredients from small European producers. Their soaps are packaged and shipped without plastic.

Their traditional cold saponification process preserves the nutritional qualities of their vegetable oils and fats and results in a naturally higher glycerin content than industrially produced soaps. This results in a gentler, more hydrating soap that effectively cleanses without leaving the skin dry or tight. The cold manufacturing process is also very energy efficient.
