Soy Wax Candle - Oak
Description
Aged Oak - Vetiver - Warm Resin
Wildwood Candles are inspired by the trails in Portland's Forest Park. Each carefully crafted scent evokes a specific part of the park in a specific season. This one is named for the Oak Trail in Hoyt Arboretum, which was founded in 1928 and now includes about 60 species of oak trees from around the world in its collection.
In this candle, dry spice and oak tannins give way to earthy vetiver root and cedar, while oak, warm musk, and creamy benzoin resin linger at the base with hints of worn wood, old books, and waxed oak floors. It’s the candle for the first cold morning of fall — steady, grounding, and made for slowing down as the seasons begin to change, but designed to feel at home year-round.
These remarkably long-burning wood wick candles emit a soft crackling sound and just the right amount of fragrance. Many candles give me a headache, but these never do! Founder, scent formulator, and primary candle-pourer Kylie Antolini uses only top quality fragrances, a premium soy and coconut wax blend, and responsibly sourced materials.
