The foundations of Shorthand Press began in 2008 when the founder Rosanna created her first line of greeting cards on her printing press from 1880. She continues to design greeting cards and notebooks and works with a small team to print and assemble them in their Los Angeles studio.

Shorthand is defined by a minimalist yet bright aesthetic, versatile paper products, and attention to quality--smooth paper, tactile cover stock and sturdy metal spiral bindings.
