Maple Sparkle 11 Watercolor Palette

This beautiful palette of sparkly metallic watercolor paints inspired by the colors of the sugar maple woods is presented in a palette made from slow dried sugar maple offcuts from Beam Paints' owner Anong Beam's family's maple forest, which they have tended for generations.

The colid watercolor paint is made with non-toxic, lightfast pigments and ethically harvested mica from the USA and is poured into 1/2" pans and sealed with hemp oil.

Refills for these palettes are available from Beam Paints directly, so you can keep using your wooden palette after you've used up a color.

Beam Paints is an Indigenous woman owned company based in M'Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Their paints are handmade in small batches from non toxic pigments, tree sap, gum arabic and Manitoulin honey blended together to create a handmade saturated color that is a joy to paint with. From thick stripes to fine washes and details, quality is evident in every stroke.

The wood used in their refillable palettes are offcuts from an Indigenous owned sustainable lumber operation and their entire company is plastic free except for the nylon bristles in their travel brushes.

Beam Paints uses professional pigments that are tested for light fastness by their suppliers and are rated Excellent as Measured in accordance to ISO/R 105/I; DIN 54003. They then sometimes blend these pigments with their own gathered wild pigments to create a unique final recipe, which is third party tested to be certified non toxic and suitable for use by children by the Art and Creative Materials Institute (ACMI).
